The Missionaries of The Divine Mercy

is an apostolate commissioned by The Sanctuary of The Holy Family with the special task of promoting the Divine Mercy Devotion to all peoples by WORD, DEED and PRAYER as requested by our Lord Himself to St. Maria Faustina.

Jesus said to St. Faustina: “I desire that there be a congregation (Movement) which will proclaim God’s Mercy and by its prayers, obtain it for the world.” (Diary 1155)

He said: “I Thirst, I Thirst for the salvation of souls. Help Me, My daughter, to save souls.

Join your suffering to My Passion and offer them to the Heavenly Father for sinners.” (Diary 1032)

“I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I also promise victory over [its] enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I myself will defend it as My own glory.” (Diary 148)

“I desire their salvation. When you say this prayer with a contrite heart and with faith on behalf of some sinner, I will give him the grace of conversion. This is the prayer: “O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount Mercy for us, I trust in You.” (Diary 168-187)

As “Missionaries of The Divine Mercy” we have undertaken a special task of promoting this devotion to all peoples, interceding for the salvation of souls and performing works of mercy by word, deed and prayer as requested by our Lord Himself to St. Maria Faustina.

Becoming a Missionary of The Divine Mercy

To be a Missionary of The Divine Mercy is not to belong to a religious order or to take on extraordinary works. It is a call to live the Gospel of mercy faithfully, humbly, and consistently, in families, parishes, workplaces, and quiet hidden places where suffering often goes unseen. This mission flows directly from Baptism and is rooted in the Church’s teaching on the lay-apostolate. It is a response to Jesus’ desire, revealed through St. Faustina, that the whole world come to know His infinite mercy.
What Is a Missionary of The Divine Mercy?

A Missionary of Divine Mercy is a lay faithful person who freely commits to:

  • trusting deeply in the mercy of Jesus,
  • living mercy, through word deed and prayer, according to their state of life,
  • interceding for the salvation of souls,
  • and remaining faithful to the Church, the sacraments, and daily conversion of heart.

This commitment is moral and spiritual, not juridical. It involves no vows or promises binding under sin. Rather, it is a daily choice—to belong to Jesus, to live from His Heart, and to allow His mercy to shape one’s thoughts, words, and actions.

If you are ready to take up the commitment to become a missionary of The Divine Mercy.
